Robert J. Randisi has written more published novels than
we can count, but the tally is somewhere north of five hundred.
Besides his many mysteries, he has made his mark in
the adult western market. Under the pen name
"J.R. Roberts," he is the creator and author of the Gunsmith
series, which has been appearing monthly since 1982.
He is the author of a novel, THE BOTTOM OF EVERY BOTTLE,
and a short story collection, THE GUILT EDGE, for
Perfect Crime Books, which will publish his new
Delvecchio novel, THE END OF BROOKLYN, later this year.
Other recent mysteries include the series of Hollywood
Rat Pack novels from St. Martin's Press.
In 1982, Bob Randisi founded the Private Eye Writers
of America, of which he remains executive director. He
is the editor of a two-volume collection of short stories,
THE SHAMUS WINNERS, due from Perfect Crime in August.
A native of Brooklyn, he lives with his wife, the writer
Marthayn Pelegrimas, in Clarksville, Missouri, in a house
overlooking the Mississippi
